Just tried LowMax for the first time yesterday - did the premix with just the combos, as I was still recovering from MuscleMax the day before!
I had a great time with this DVD - I haven't done step for a few years now, and was a bit worried about getting back into it, but I really enjoyed the workout. Cathe's cueing is great, and by the end I was really in the groove. I love that I can do a hard cardio workout without putting any strain on my joints/feet.
My husband poked his head in during one combo and commented on how complicated it looked, but that's just one of the reasons I like step- the patterns keep you thinking and take you through great ranges of motion for your whole body. Can't wait to do it again with the blasts!

Fun!

This workout was so much fun, and the time flew right by. The blasts all concentrated on legs and glutes, and you could really feel it. Despite the low impact, it was great exercise and you could add a jump here or there if you wanted to raise the impact. The music was fun, and I felt like I was exercising with friends in a friendly, fun atmosphere. I can't wait to do this workout again. Thanks, Cathe!

Very Challenging!!!

This is a very tough workout!! Do not think for a moment that because this is low impact it is easy. After all, we are still dealing with a drill sargent named Cathe ;). I thought this would be an "easier" workout to add to my daily cardio routines...how absolutely mistaken I was. Along with great cardio, this workout is a great endurance workout for the legs. Love it and can't wait for Low Max 2 (hint hint).

Low Max is tough!

This was my very first Cathe workout. It took me about a month to build up to it. Do not be fooled by the name- it is a challenging workout for both the heart and the legs. This workout is a staple in my weekly workout routine now. You will love the music and the fun choreography!

Low Max

I love this workout! It has a welcome change of pace and blasts my legs like no other cardio workout. I put this DVD into my rotation every week, and even though it is longer than some of the other cardio DVDs, with fewer step/blast segments it seems shorter. I hope there will be Low Max 2, 3 etc.!
